NAME;; T: Thorn; V: Victoria
AGE;; Both: 2 and a half years
GENDER;; Both: Female
BREED;; Both: Siberian Husky
SUMMARY;; Both: Slender; graceful; pretty; T: dark; mysterious; V: spoiled; fanciful;
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION;; Thorn and Victoria are sister and are very identical physically. They both have white coats with black markings. Those coats are well groomed, thanks to Victoria keeping her sister's looks in check. Thorn is a bit taller, because of her slightly longer limbs, and Victoria has been the favorite of their master's husband because of her pretty body ratio and perfect size. Victoria has the classic ice-blue eyes one would expect to find on her breed, while Thorn's eyes are two different colors, one ice-blue, one light brown, almost orange. Thorn has slightly larger paws than her sister, but abnormally large claws. Victoria has small petite paws. Both still wear their colors, which are both gray with a silver-colored tag on it.
SCARS;; Victoria has a scar on her stomach from a fight with another dog, and Thorn has one on her side from the same incident. Both are hidden by their pelt, however. Thorn also has a scar on her muzzle, this one more visible than the other.
FLAWS;; T: easily aggravated; not very social; her abnormalities. V: very talkative; can be clumsy at times; forgetful.
FEARS;; T: fire; guns. V: water; rats
LIKES;; T: the cold; the night; the mountains. V: the warm; the day; the plains.
DISLIKES;; T: loud noises; a lot of light; wide open areas. V: silence; the dark; closed in areas, like the city.
IDEALS;; Both: To find a new place to live; to find other canines to be their friends; to figure out what happened to all the humans; to find their mistress' adopted son who was taken away when she and her husband were infected.
PERSONAL DESCRIPTION;; Thorn and Victoria, as alike as they are in appearance, have very different personalities. Thorn is more dark and secretive, she enjoys the night and is afraid of fire, which was why she would never go very close to the fire-place unless she absolutely had to. Victoria is very social, she longs to fit in with others, and she can never keep a secrete for more than an hour. They both are very different, but they respect each other's differences and can find things they both share in common, like their goals. They never could figure out what killed their humans, so the two decided to venture out to discover what did due to the curiosity they share.
PARENTS;; Mother- Lilac: White Siberian Husky. died peacefully in her sleep. Father- Victor: Victoria was named after him. he died from pneumonia.
SIBLINGS;; Other than each other, none.
HISTORY;; Thorn and Victoria were born into a nice family with plenty of money and food, a large house, and loving humans. They're parents died after the two reached the age of one year. Their mistress was an older woman who was married but had never had children of her own. She only had a nephew, and so when his parents left him to be babysat, she treated him like her own child. The two canines also grew attached to the boy like their mother had. He was around 13 years, so he was old enough to walk them around the block on his own.
One day, the two sisters returned from their walk to find their mistress crying. From what they heard, the boy's parents, her brother and his wife, had died after being terribly ill for four days. The boy was adopted by his aunt, he was treated by the mistress and her husband as their own child, and he was treated like a master and companion by his two favorite dogs.
The boy was out for the daily walk with Thorn and Victoria, when they were attacked by a very, very large dog. The two sisters protected their master; they were left with their scars, but they won the fight. The boy promised to take care of them forever after that, but unfortunately, he would not be able to keep that promise.
When they returned, the found that the mistress' husband had become very ill, infected with the virus that was plaguing the town. She, too, was beginning to show symptoms of illness. People came to the house and took the boy away from them and their mistress, and Thorn and Victoria promised to find him whenever they got the chance. The mistress' husband died, but she was still alive when the two sister Siberian Husky's decided to leave and begin their search for what had made their humans sick and where the boy they protected was.
ROLE-PLAY SAMPLE;; Thorn wondered through the dark alleys of the city. She could smell the death, the rotting flesh of humans, and she didn't expect to find the boy down there, but still she wondered through the darkness, sniffing around in attempt to pick up the scent. There was no one she recognized, and the few humans that were down there were already dead, so the black-and-white canine decided that it was time to turn around and head back.
The sky looked completely gray, because of the sun being blocked by a layer of ironic storm clouds. That was all life seemed to be, nothing but grayness, ever since the disease came and destroyed the human population of that town. Thorn was a little surprised that she or her sister, whom had both been wondering around the streets surrounded by disease ridden corpses, had never caught the virus, let alone any other form of illness.
Food was very scarce, and sometimes the Husky wanted to return home to her mistress and be fed by the loving lady. Her sister thought the same thing, so nothing was keeping her from returning, but she couldn't until she found the boy. The boy had loved both of them, and the mistress loved the boy, so returning home without him would be very disappointing and saddening, almost like they were giving up on the search and giving in to hunger. Her stomach growled loudly, and she winced a bit since the hunger began to stab at her insides.
Sitting down and taking a break from the long morning of searching, Thorn could sense that her sister was nearby. Sure enough, the other Siberian Husky appeared out of the grayness of the city, carrying a skinny squirrel in her jaw.
"I found this roaming around," she explained, walking up to her sister and dropping it at her paws, "I thought that it wasn't much, but food is still food, and we shouldn't be picky about how much we can find. I already ate one, so you have this whole thing."
"Thanks, sis," Thorn replied, leaning down and swallowing the squirrel almost whole. Her stomach still grumbled, but not as violently. She wished to be able to give up, but at the same time, she wasn't able to. I miss the way things used to be, she thought to herself, looking down at the gray city floor.
