GENERAL

• advertising goes only in the advertising board. you may not put a link of your site anywhere except that board, and in the 'website' section of your profile. advertisements that have been spammed will be reported for violating proboards TOS.
  
  
• join to join, not to leave. if you join, don't just forget about the site and never do anything after. that's stupid. don't just join to quit, either. there is no reason why you can't look around before you join to make sure you like what you see. if you join and do not make a character or role-play, and you say you are going to, you will be deleted. if you join and ask me if you can just be a member to make friends and have fun, i have no problem with that!
  
  
• double posting and spamming is not allowed. there is no reason to pursue this subject any further.
  
  
• if someone is being impolite to you via email, pm, c-box, or forum, please contact a staff member with proof. a screen shot is all that's needed, and we will contact the offending member and take care of it ourselves. please don't get in to public fights with this member. we don't need or want the drama.
  
  
• anything on the proboards TOS is also a rule here. (by joining the site you automatically agree to follow the rules of the TOS. if you break them, you are out).
  

CHARACTERS

• you may have as many characters as you like, however, you must keep them all active. if you can't keep them all active, get rid of them, or, don't make any more characters until they are active.
  
  
• characters must be realistic. we are a realistic role-play, so purple dogs are not allowed, nor dogs with red eyes. although bald dogs are real, they aren't allowed here either because they wouldn't survive in this setting.
  
  
• perfect characters are not allowed. this means perfect in appearance, or in personality. your dog cannot win every battle, and cannot catch every prey they find. they are not master hunters or fighters, but simply decent, or not decent, at either. they cannot have a perfect record.
  
  
• be realistic. some breeds simply cannot survive without a human.
  

ROLE PLAYING

• 250 words minimum per post. sorry. this is advanced, so if you can't make 250 words, which is quite easy, then don't post.
  
  
• you may role-play as many characters as you want in a post/thread. just make sure everyone else knows who you are role-playing at a given time.
  
  
• styling of your posts is up to you. just make sure the colours you use, if you use them, are not super bright, or too dark to see. the point of role-playing is to be role-played with, and making your post so dark that someone else can't read it completely ruins the point, doesn't it? blockquotes shouldn't go beyond three otherwise it gets very skinny.
  
  
• ooc should be kept to a minimum. just a message if needed.
  
  
• swearing and words that dogs wouldn't know of are not allowed. though it is very creative to say 'hell' in a post, a dog probably doesn't know what hell is because hell is written in the human based bible. be creative. make your own 'religion' for the dog and see what you can come up with, or, just use simple words.
  
  
• no power playing or god modding. again, this is an advanced role-play.
